I am a hardworking and highly motivated individual, with over 4 years experience of working with children and young people, both as a volunteer and as part of my education studies. I am able to work both independently and as part of a team and am good at planning my time and working to deadlines. I am passionate about educating young people and helping them to develop their, knowledge, skills and independence.
I have experience of planning curriculum, both in schools and in a church setting, evaluating the content to ensure that it is appropriate for the children in my care and delivering it in a caring and child-centred approach.
My Experience
I have experience working with children in both a voluntary and paid setting since I was 15. I started volunteering in children’s church helping out and babysitting a friends 3 year old in the evenings. I went to university and studied for an Early Years degree where I experienced working within various early years settings. Following this, I spent another 2 years working in a local primary school in a reception and year 1 classroom working with SEND students.
