My Experience

I have many years of experience with children ages 0+. I have previously worked in a day care centre. Here, I Assisted staff with day to day activities, ensuring each child is under great care and supervision whilst being
in and out of the nursery and promoting a healthy and safe environment where children are able to learn,
grow and have fun. As an assistant, I strive to provide the optimum ability to establish my skills when
working with others, whether it is with adults or children. I have experience in feeding, changing and
entertaining children for over 6 months in the setting . I also worked in a primary school as a student/teaching assistant. I gained experience and Knowledge with year 1 students, working cooperatively with the teaching
assistant and teacher. I also helped out with daily tasks such as gluing, tidying up the room and assisting
with lessons, as well as going on duty on the playground. I managed my time well by coming in on time so
I could prepare myself for the tasks ahead, as well as staying behind if needed to help with any specific
activities. Experience is important as it broadens knowledge and skills. I also have had lots of experience growing up, because I would always take care of family.

My Qualifications

Level 2 child development and care
Level 3 health and social care
GCSE in maths and English

My Availability

I am typically available most days, however can depend on the week therefore it would be great to be notified a couple of days in advance.
