About Me
I am currently a Student at Lancaster University going into my final year studying International Relations and Politics. I am looking to provide childcare for family on a regular basis throughout the holiday season and throughout the year within the scope of my studying timetable.
I am an enthusiastic and caring person, who has always had a heart for looking after and providing help to children. I’ve always believed the importance of having role models and trusted adults that guide and care for children as they grow up and experience the world. I take great honour in being that person for the children I encounter. My last four years of school I had the privilege of attending a boarding school, in southwest England. Through this I was able to enthusiastically volunteer coaching the Year 1s to Year 7s at cross country, and becoming a trusted and respected senior prefect in both academic and pastoral matters.
My Experience
I have coached Year 1s to Year 7s in cross country at my school, with the school teachers. This involved encouraging the pupils throughout their run and keeping a headcount on all the pupils if we went off site for the running route.
I have experience babysitting both family members and friends children. While I was boarding school, I volunteered as babysitter for teachers in the evening when this opportunity arose. I have head plenty of experience with 2-3 children at once babysitting them, feeding them and ensuring they get ready for and into bed.
I have also had experience volunteering at church childrens groups and a morning holiday camp with primary school children. I served the snacks and food as well as entertained the children during breaks.
I am currently waiting for my DBS certificate.
My Qualifications
I have had previous simple first aid training and CPR training.
My Availability
Immediately I am available full time throughout the rest of July, August and September, with the exception of a couple of weeks where I have commitments already booked. This can be discussed when you get in contact. Then I have yet to receive my academic timetable which will impact my availability but I would still be available to do childcare duties.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
I have based my fees off of affordability and minimum wage for the country as of the tax year of April 2024-25.
