Hi! Welcome to my home-from-home setting :)
This is a trilingual setting - We speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish!
My name is Sara and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I am 31 years old and have a 3 year old son. I also have a very friendly 4 year old cat, her name is Lola.
With over 4 years of hands-on experience caring for babies, I understand how important those early months and years are. From feeding and changing to helping with naps and early development milestones, I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each baby’s unique rhythm and needs.
I create a nurturing environment where babies feel safe, soothed, and engaged. Whether it’s tummy time, sensory play, or quiet cuddles with a story, I ensure your little one is not only cared for, but also gently stimulated in age-appropriate ways. I have a 4 seat wagon, which is amazing for our outings and the little ones love it! We often go out on picnics to the local parks, we also visit the library, etc.
I know how precious your baby is to you. That’s why I keep you in the loop with regular updates, photos, and open communication. Families often tell me they feel a huge sense of relief knowing their child is with someone dependable and genuinely caring.
I’m based in Epsom, right by the town centre, making drop-offs and pick-ups easy. I’m available Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm, and I’m happy to discuss your family’s routine and preferences to make sure we’re the right fit.
My Experience
I have over 4 years experience. I started as an assistant with a 20+ years experienced childminder and friend.
I love studying, so I often look for new books and courses to make sure I can provide the best care possible! For instance, the Children's Psychology course is something that I'd love to study in the near future.

- Home-based Childcare Qualification (HBCA) - CACHE-accredited and Ofsted-recognised Level 3 award
- BaRC (Becoming a Registered Childminder training) with Surrey County Council

I truly cannot put into words how grateful I am to have found Sara. She came into our lives at a time when we were in desperate need of help, and from the moment we met her, she felt like an angel sent to us. She was highly recommended to me, and now I understand why—she is nothing short of extraordinary.
From the very beginning, Sara welcomed my daughter into her home with open arms and a warm heart. Her setting is exactly what every parent dreams of for their child—safe, nurturing, and full of love. It truly is a “home from home.” The care and attention she provides is above and beyond anything I ever expected. My daughter absolutely flourished under Sara’s care. I saw such incredible development in her—emotionally, socially, and even physically. She was always smiling, always engaged, and always came home full of joy.
What stood out most was how happy my daughter was. She would wake up excited to go to Sara’s every single day, and even on weekends, she would ask for her. That, to me, says it all. Knowing my child was not only well cared for, but genuinely loved and cherished, brought me such peace of mind.
Sara keeps parents constantly updated with photos and messages, always making sure we feel connected and involved. She also puts so much effort into giving the children new experiences—whether it’s trips to the park, or nature walks to see the ducks. Every day was an adventure, and my daughter was always learning something new.
Sadly, we had to move due to a relocation, and leaving Sara was genuinely one of the hardest parts of that transition. If it weren’t for the move, my daughter would still be with her now. I was heartbroken to leave such a wonderful place.
I recommend Sara wholeheartedly and without hesitation to any parent looking for a kind, passionate, and truly exceptional childminder. She is a rare gem, and anyone would be lucky to have her in their child’s life.

Sara looked after our 3 year old pre-schooler during the summer holidays. She was warm and friendly from the start and our little boy was very happy in her care. Sara is communicative and flexible, adapting activities to suit the child and sending updates. She also supported him with his speech & language development. Definitely recommend!
