My Experience

When deciding what job I would like to partake in over summer, a role in childcare seemed a natural step for me. Since moving to Belfast for university and exploring life living alone, this responsibility has enabled me to be more independent, and good at problem-solving, which are all attributes I will demonstrate during my role in childcare and these are skills that I have exerted previously while babysitting for my cousins and other younger family members.

In addition to my previous childcare experiences with family members, I have worked multiple hospitality jobs, giving me the opportunity to take responsibility in ensuring the wellbeing of every customer is met, allowing them to rely on me to fulfil their needs to the best of my ability.

When growing up myself I was constantly partaking in children’s activity clubs, sporting clubs such as gymnastics and dance which I enjoyed thoroughly as an energetic person. My energetic personality is always progressing as I continue my love for sports by playing for my university volleyball team. Being part of a sporting team throughout my whole life, especially in university, has allowed me to expand my teamworking skills in a friendly environment.

My focus in childcare is not only keeping the children entertained in creative ways, but ensuring their safety is always my first priority. As I partook in first aid training during scouts and Duke of Edinburgh, I have experience in attending to any injuries that occur with an efficient and calm manner.

In hopes that I am kindly selected for this role, I will approach it with a great deal of enthusiasm and cooperation to suit yours and your children’s needs.

My Availability

I am available mornings afternoons and some evenings in weekdays and would be able to do overnights both weekdays and weeknights if needed

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

£10 an hour minimum
