My Experience

I have over two years experience working with primary school aged children as a wrap around care worker at a large primary school in my hometown (references available upon request). I was responsible for my own year group at both breakfast and after school clubs ensuring all children were fed and clean in the morning before taking them to their classrooms as well as helping them with their homework and organising games and activities for them after school. Furthermore I also worked as a music school worker at the same primary school responsible for collecting the younger primary school children from their classrooms and safely escorting them to the music school which was in another area of the town, following a timetable to ensure all children arrived on time. Aside from this I also volunteered at a primary school cooking club teaching primary school aged children basic cooking and hygiene skills as well as volunteering to help children learn to read. I have also completed temporary work doing housekeeping at a hotel and I am happy to help out with any housework when needed.
I have previously completed two DBS checks and I am more than happy to apply for another one if required by the family.

My Qualifications

First Class Honours Degree in History from Durham University (graduated June 2024).
3 Alevels (A* AA) and an A* in EPQ.
9 GCSES at A* or equivalent
2+ years experience working with primary school aged children.

My Availability

I am available from September 2024 onwards. I am ultimately looking to pursue a career as a solicitor too so holiday days would be necessary for me to complete any relevant legal experience.
