About Me
I’m Áine, 27, young professional, self employed craniosacral therapist and looking for part time nannying/babysitting work. I love kids, their outlook on life, curiosity, giggles and their joy. I work with children, mothers and babies in my clinical practice and spend time caring for my friends children. I am always equipped with crafts, games, fun activities, learning opportunities and also have a comforting and nurturing personality. Although I have not trained or have specific qualifications in ‘childcare’, my therapeutic work and experience supporting families, children and babies in my practice has left me deeply knowledgable and attuned with children, their needs and how to offer them the best support and care. As an individual I am highly dependable, kind, considerate, organised as well as fun, easy to get along with and very nurturing. I grew up on a veg farm, I love outdoor activities, cooking, reading and sailing. I am very good at story time!
My Experience
Although I do not have specific qualifications in childcare my experience caring for my friends children and my work as a craniosacral therapist supporting families, children and babies gives me a rich background and knowledge in children, their development and caring for them.
Through my professional work I have had great experience working closely with children and babies in my clinic. Through this I understand how to best care and entertain them and how to create a fun, nurturing and safe space for them to explore and grow in.
As well has hands on experience my background in therapeutic work with pregnancy, mothers, babies and children has given me a huge amount of knowledge and education on child development and how to best support and care for young bodies, minds and spirits.
