About Me
I knew I wanted to would work with children since the age of 10, when my mum started childminding. Children are full of enthusiasm and curiosity and I love watching their natural learning take place.
I provide an environment where children can play, explore and learn in a nurturing, caring and respectful setting. Children will be able to choose what they want to play and learn about, whether it's outside in the mud kitchen, sandpit or the themed tuff tray or inside reading in the book corner, creating obstacle courses or making dinner in the home corner.
My Experience
I began helping with childcare at the age of 10, when my mum became a childminder. I went on to babysit and nanny, whilst I trained as a primary school teacher and taught for over 14 years. I have been a member of the senior lead team and guided staff in the delivery of art, design, geography, MFL, history and PE (all creative subjects, which I love to explore with children!) as well as led trips and events for all the staff. I also have 2 young children of my own, as well as 10 nieces and nephews!
My Qualifications
I have a BA hons in primary education with QTS.
I have also completed recent first aid training (and have done regularly for the past 14 years).
I have completed additional training for the agency I am signed up with and have ongoing CPD around the EYFS documentation.
I have taught many children with varying educational needs and have had training for a variety of needs.
My Availability
I am available for whole days (up to 9 hours), shorter days or half days, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.72 per hour
I will accept funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year old.
My hourly fee starts at £6.72 or a discounted day price for £56 for 9 hours.
There will be additional fees for snacks, meals and to cover resources/trips.
My Local Schools
