About Me
Hello parents, my name is Grace. I am hugely passionate about educating younger generations about the natural world. Throughout my working career it has mainly been within education, from safari guiding in the wildernesses of Africa and Sri Lanka, to being a college lecturer teaching animal science. This experience has given me an amazing way of telling stories and I've had some incredible sightings with elephants, lions and bears. Not only this, I have a warm, friendly and loving nature and I'm responsible and trustworthy. Moreover, I am a great cook and I am able to cook pretty much anything and would be more than happy to cook for the family also for when you arrive home.
My Experience
This is my first time nannying using this site and would absolutely relish the opportunity to be a nanny to a wonderful family. I want to try and get as much experience as possible as one day I would like a family of my own. However, I do look after my two wonderful nephews (aged 2 and 5) when my partners sister is at work most weeks.
My Qualifications
The qualifications I have attained throughout my education are a HND in Animal Management during my college years, this then led me to achieve (BSc) honours degree in Integrated Wildlife Conservation at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Furthermore, after university my experience carrying out an expedition and research in remote areas of Madagascar. It led me to want to gain my international South African Safari Guiding qualification in Zululand, I then achieved my Level 1 FGASA. When I came back from working in Sri Lanka for many years guiding, I then slotted into lecturing here in the UK in a Animal centered college in Solihull, Birmingham. During this time, I then accomplished my postgraduate teaching qualification in further education (PGCE). Throughout my teaching career I have been a tutor to classrooms of 30 individuals, boosting their success rates and guiding them to achievement.
