About Me
I am a warm, energetic, and dependable 30-year-old PhD student looking for part-time nanny work to fit around my studies. I love to get creative and be active, spending time outdoors or inside baking, dancing, singing and doing arts and crafts with children.
I have also worked as a tutor, classroom assistant and junior lecturer, so it's no surprise that I am also passionate about learning! Whether that's finding ways to make homework fun, cultural day trips or reading with the children, I hope to instil that love of learning in others.
In my free time, I enjoy running, doing creative writing, and I have just taken up sewing. While I absolutely love being in Edinburgh, I grew up in rural North Wales, so I also love to get out into the countryside and hike in beautiful Scotland from time to time.

My Experience
In addition to teaching assistant work, tutoring classrooms of students, and working as a junior lecturer for first year undergraduates, I spent time babysitting and caring for a younger sibling growing up. I am also an auntie and cherish spending time with my nieces!
My Qualifications
Beyond my BA and MA in History and the PhD I am currently working towards in Anthropology, I have gained experience as a teaching assistant working with young people in schools, I have tutored and I have experience babysitting.
