My name is Charlie, I am 23 years old living in Henley-On-Thames. I am calm and patient aswell as being fun and energetic, I have grown up around animals and riding horses so I love the outdoors and being active.
I am very passionate about my job as a nanny and simply love children and helping them learn and grow. I am responsible, reliable and caring as well as being very professional and providing exceptional care for Children of all ages and stages. My Experience
I have been working with children for 6 years now, having worked in a nursery setting for 2 years I have gained experience with a ratio of up to 8 children in a group using both adult led and child led activities, I have worked with a range of ages from 4 months old to 4 years and have had the responsibility of up to 8 key children.
I have had experience in a school setting running a after school club which included homework club and a range of activities and games. I have been a nanny for 3 years with a family with 3 boys ages from 5 months old to 6 years and 1 year nannying for a family with a little girl who has additional special needs from age 2-3. I have also managed and ran a singing and makaton signing class for children aged 1-4 years.
My Qualifications
I have English, Maths and Childcare GCSE, level 3 qualification/ diploma in children’s learning and teaching, paediatric first aid and food hygiene level 2. I have my DBS and safeguarding as well as a number of online certificates such as children’s mental health, children’s speech and language, outdoor provision in early years, British values and prevent.
