About Me

I’m Carly, a dedicated and experienced KS1 teacher with a passion for fostering a love of learning in young children. I have been working in an outstanding school in Kensington over the last few years and I have gained a lot of experience with a range of children including adopted and SEN learners. I am well-versed in all elements of the KS1 curriculum, ensuring that your child receives comprehensive support in their educational journey.

I specialize in KS1 and so I have extensive experience with a variety of phonics schemes. This allows me to tailor my teaching methods to suit the individual needs of each student, helping them build a strong foundation in reading and writing.

In addition to my expertise in the general KS1 curriculum, I have significant experience working with students with additional needs. I am committed to creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. My approach is patient, compassionate, and adaptive, ensuring that each student receives the personalised support they need to succeed.

I’m based in Islington and offer both in-person and online classes. Whether your child needs help with phonics, numeracy, literacy, handwriting or just feeling more prepared and confident at school, I am here to help!
