My Experience
My main experience with childcare is working as a camp counsellor during the summers. This would entail two to three weeks of looking after the children (typically aged 4 and up) 24/7 catering to their needs and ensuring they have a fun summer. My responsibilities included being their guardian during every meal, preparing and participating in fun activities and helping them get to bed and wake up each day. Overall, I have always loved this job and look forward to it every summer.
