About Me
Hi I’m Charlie, I am a registered childminder, fully qualified, I live with my partner, 2 children and my step son. we are based in between in Yeovil. We also share our home with Joey, he is a yellow Labrador he is beautiful, kind and loving, the perfect therapy dog! Although Joey is fantastic he will generally be kept separate from the children to ensure extra safe environment.
I have worked in various childcare settings and I am level 3 childcare qualified and have all relevant training to be a childminder and I work with tiney childminding agency.
I took some time out from childcare to have my children and care for my mother and now I am back!
my home is positioned in between 2 fields so we are surrounded by fields and country side, it has a playroom, a sensory room, large kitchen diner for arts and crafts and cooking, I have a garden with room to run and around and we also have apparatus such as a slide, trampoline, and other activities such as water trays and sand trays and we have a potting area so the children can grow fruit and vegetables.
I love working with children and have had various experience in different settings and have experience working with all ages of children up to 15 years.
Priority one for me is to ensure a happy, safe and positive environment for the children, it is paramount to me that parents feel comfortable and happy leaving their children with me, as a mother myself I understand the importance of this! therefore I ensure that each and every child is happy and comfortable in my home. I also feel that it is my responsibility when in my care to teach positive and happy attributes that will in term help in their adult life. My Experience
I have 4 years of experience in nursery settings, I have worked in a school as part of my training and many years of babysitting experience, and I’m always the friend that gets asked for childcare help because it comes natural to me, not to mention raising 3 children of my own! I have experience working with all age children from newborns to 15 years. I’ve also had a refresher course in little babies as my youngest child is only just turned two.
My Qualifications
I am fully qualified with an NVQ level 3 in childcare and have received an MK endeavour award in childcare. I have all the necessary training such as - paediatric first aid, safeguarding level 3, food hygiene and EYFS training. I like to fit in courses when I feel it would benefit me to expand my knowledge so I am always learning.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.50 per hour
Regarding fees, I charge £6.50 and as I do not offer cooked meals I ask that your child arrive with a lunchbox for them for the day, I provide snacks through the day which are at no extra cost to you. The only time there maybe extra charges is for late payments, trips etc. all information given to the parents prior to starting or prior to outings. I offer government funding for spaces so everyone is welcome.
