About Me
I am a friendly and nurturing person who has thoroughly enjoyed working with children while at a local nursery. I would love to experience a different side to childcare, working closely with a family to help them give their child(ren) the best start to life and develop the necessary skills and knowledge to lead happy and fulfilling lives. My patient and caring personality is perfectly suited to a career working with children.
Ideally I am looking for a full time nanny position in Warwickshire, where I can integrate into a family as their helping hands and role model for their child(ren).
Outside of work I enjoy sports, socialising and travelling. I have not long returned from 6 months travelling around Australia, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand, which was a truly incredible experience. I am a good swimmer, competent skier and non-smoker. I am well presented, intelligent and eloquently spoken. I hold a full, clean driving licence.
My Experience
I have 16 months experience working in a nursery setting. Initially, I worked in all rooms with children aged between 3 months and 5 years old. I then began working permanently in the toddler room (aged 2 years), with key children whose learning and development I was responsible for monitoring, tracking and enhancing. This taught me the child development milestones to look out for and work towards, and fun activities which are beneficial to their learning and development. I believe learning through play is the best way for children to be engaged with what they are learning and have some autonomy over how and what they learn. I have a working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and theories of learning, which enables me to give children a stimulating and caring environment in which their holistic development can flourish.
I have previous experience working with and teaching children through being a cheerleading coach of children aged 7 to 16 years.
I am known to be punctual, organised, friendly and reliable. Having also worked in administrative and hospitality roles, I am able to work efficiently and cohesively within a team.

MA in Criminology
BA Hons in Criminology 2:1
AAB in psychology, sociology, and health and social care at A-Level
A*-B in 11 GCSE's including Maths, English and Science
