About Me
I am a 22 year old Modern Languages Student at Newcastle University and I am hoping to begin teacher training September 2025. Before beginning this I am looking to spend the year gaining childcare experience and learning more about young people and children!
My Experience
In 2021 I spent 7 months in Germany working as an Au Pair for a French family. As this was duirng the pandemic I spent most of my days with a 4 year old girl making sure she was entertained and having fun. Once schools opened again I would pick the 9 year old up and then be with both children until mum and dad finished work. I spent from September 2023-April 2024 during my year abroad teaching English at a primary school in Toulon and it was the most rewarding thing I have ever done! Alongside this I helped a family with their childcare and took the children home from school and to piano class depending on the day. Once they had finished any homework I would again play games such as uno or guess who with the children, or more active games during warmer months in the garden - never screen time!
My Qualifications
I have 8 GCSEs all grade 6-9. I have A-Level grade B in French, German and English Literature. Currently I am studying Modern Foreign Languages at Newcastle University.
