My name is Laura and I have worked with children for 19years. I have always been passionate about working with children finding it an incredibly rewarding job.
In this time I have since gone on to do 6 years worth of housekeeping work for a family which I have thoroughly enjoyed. The activity it provides me and the satisfaction of a before/after is truly amazing! I absolutely love leaving the homes I cleaned looking organized, clean and ready to welcome their families.
I am a hard working, self sufficient person who is very creative and has a keen eye for detail.
When it comes to children I have a very calming nature and enjoy creating engaging learning experiences, whilst also being that positive caring role model for them.
I am an open and honest communicator and I am confident I could step into any role quickly.
My Experience
Currently a HLTA at a primary school-
Nanning for a family for over 4 years with
Housekeeping Duties including-
Cleaning and Sanitising, Dusting Surfaces like furniture, shelves, and electronics.
Vacuuming and Sweeping Floors, carpets and rugs.
Mopping Hard floors, such as tiles and wood.
Washing Windows, Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
Sanitising Bathrooms, Cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, and baths, refilling toiletries.
Kitchen Cleaning, Wiping down surfaces, cleaning appliances, washing dishes, and sanitizing sinks.
Laundry Duties
Washing Clothes, Sorting, drying and ironing clothes.
Changing and washing bed linens, pillowcases, and covers.
Replacing towels when needed.
Organisation-
Tidying Rooms, Arranging furniture, making beds, and ensuring items are in their designated places.
Decluttering- Removing unnecessary items, organising wardrobes and storage areas.
Periodic tasks like cleaning behind appliances, washing walls, and steam cleaning carpets.
Cooking and after school activities with the children including homework.
