Hello, my name is Megan. I’m a 24-year-old who recently moved to Glasgow after taking some time out to travel. I am a friendly and patient person who has lots of experience working with children of all ages through my work as a paediatric nurse. I have a clean PVG and am happy to travel around Glasgow and surrounding areas.
My Experience
I have nearly two years of experience working as a Paediatric ward nurse, where I cared for newborns to teenagers with a variety of needs, including physical, mental health, and learning disabilities. This role has given me the skills and confidence to care for children of all ages and manage their diverse needs. I am first aid trained and have also completed an Open University course on understanding the Autism Spectrum, which has further enhanced my ability to support children with additional needs.
Before University, I worked in a private nursery and volunteered with a local Brownies group for two years, where I planned fun and engaging activities/trips. I have been babysitting since the age of 16 for families.
