My Experience
Upon finishing university, I spent a year as a live in nanny for a family in Brighton caring for 3 children aged 7, 10 and 12. Offered daily care for all children, handling all aspects of different ages from helping the youngest get ready for school to providing safe transportation to and from the oldest after school and weekend activities. Handled various housekeeping duties in addition to caring for the children and cared for two household dogs, ensuring they were fed and walked.
After finishing my year in Brighton, I studied in Canterbury and obtained my TEFL CELTA (teaching English as a foreign language). After graduating, I immediately began teaching at various holiday camps and spent a Summer in Switzerland au pair to a five year old girl, tutoring her English.
I was planning a year abroad in Asia, teaching in Vietnam when I discovered I was pregnant with my eldest! My husband and I moved to Uppingham where we have lived for the last 10 years, raising both our daughters so I am very familiar with Rutland, and the surrounding areas, with great knowledge of all child friendly activities available.

My Availability
The girls are at school Monday - Friday so I am available 7.30am - 6pm and can also work evenings and weekends with advance notice.
