My Experience
I hold a year experience in tutoring children at a primary school level, and am currently expanding to GCSE level. I am also a current mentor at college, meaning I provide support to fellow A level students to reach their potential.
I also hold experience volunteering in a nursery as part of my child development studies, and learnt how to deal with certain scenarios such as tantrums, distracted children and how to develop a child’s intellect and social skills, as well as child safety training, so am well equipped, and enjoy, working with children.
My Qualifications
GCSE - grades 8 and 9s (A*s)
A LEVELS - predicted A*A*A*A
COURSES - completed courses with Imperial, Cambridge, Queens University, and an online EDX course in Further Mathematics.
Child Development GCSE - one on one experience at a nursery with a single child, where I planned individual activities to develop his skills, particularly in fine motor skills and writing skills, as well as mathematics. I learnt about safety situations such as needing CPR, situations involving a fire and electricity and safety labels on toys. I also researched scientific theories into how children learn at a young age, which I found helps enhance my services.
