About Me
A cosy, fun and engaging home nursery setting thoughtfully designed to foster independence, creativity and emotional well-being in young children drawing inspiration from a range of approaches such as Montessori, curiosity approach, Reggio Emilia, forest school, hygge in the early years and whole brain child. Registered through agency, so inspected annually to give you that extra peace of mind.
My Experience
I have always been interested in child psychology and loved children, so I have always spent a lot of time looking after my godchildren and helping them overcome obstacles to learning. When I had my now 3 year old, I became even more passionate about different curriculums that are more child led and nurturing, as well as child development and psychology. Since working with babies and children as a swimming teacher, my passion for child development and generally working with children has skyrocketed.
My Qualifications
I have had childminder training through agency, as well as safeguarding and ofsted approved paediatric first aid. I am currently undertaking hygge in the early years rewilding CPD as well as the agency’s “amazing babies” course, which is delving deeper into the pedagogy’s I am interested in such as Reggio emelio, Montessori, Steiner/Waldorf and more.
