About Me
Im a registered childminder, working as
a co childminder at a lovely friendly setting in Balby.
I have 1 daughter who is at university doing education and psychology
and I have a little dog
Before working as a childminder/Early years practitioner I worked for the NHS for 15 years
But working with the little ones is more rewarding and I love teaching them new skills and getting them school ready and teaching them life skills and curriculum
My Experience
Full registered with Ofsted and all training up to date. Working in Balby
The setting has 2 childminders
Myself and Sarah working along side each other and we have 2 assistants working with us
We do mallard and warmsworth school drop off and pick up and we also run a playgroup with another childminder setting on a Wednesday morning in warmsworth (term time only) which is great for parents and other childminders in the area to attend.
I have just got my SENCO qualification which is something I have enjoyed doing and expanding on my SEND knowledge and experience
As we are already working with SEND children.
I am also doing level 1 in BSL (British sign language) at the deaf college in Doncaster
My Qualifications
All qualifications up to date, currently obtaining qualification in BSL level 1
I am now a SENCO for the setting
I have paediatric first aid and safeguarding and have a DBS certificate.
