About Me
My name is Abigail and I am a fully qualified teacher. I have been teaching for 7 years and now offer 1-1 online sessions for both primary and secondary students. I am passionate about helping children to fall in love with their learning and endeavour to make every student feel proud of their achievements and progress.
My Experience
I have been teaching for 7 years. I taught in primary schools for 6 years and have then moved to online tuition which I have been doing for a year now. My specialism is supporting students with additional needs and am well known for ensuring that all student's needs are met so that they feel comfortable, confident and proud of the progress they are making. This year I tutored 6 GCSE students through their English and Maths exams, half of which had an additional need. All of them went into their exams feeling more confident and prepared and had achieved improved grades on their mocks on the run up to their exams, some improving by as much as 3 grades in just 6 months!
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified teacher. I studied for my Primary PGCE at The University of Exeter in 2017 and passed with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). While teaching I have taken part in various professional development courses to further my knowledge and skills and continue to do so alongside running my private tuition business.
My Availability
I mostly work evenings and weekends but do also offer sessions during the day for homeschooling students on a Thursday and Friday.

My Fees
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My fees are dependent on the length of the session. 30 minute sessions are £20, 45 minute sessions are £25 and 60 minute sessions are £30. If you do more than one session a week, prices per hour are reduced.
