About Me

I'm a mother of 2 beautiful kids and we're new to Northampton, after moving here from Bristol 2 months ago.

I work in a secondary school in Daventry, as a Pastoral Behaviour Mentor, and my partner, their Dad, is the Artistic Director for The Royal and Derngate Theatre.

Frank, our son, is five (and 3 very important quarters) years old. He's very bright, wise, thoughtful, sensitive and loud. He is captivated by the world around him and full of brilliant, if sometimes relentless, questions.
Afeni, our daughter is two, turning three in October. She's a calculated risk taker, lover of people, confident, enjoys making up songs and dances to go with them and idolises her older brother.

We are looking for after school support and someone who can pick Frank up each day and keep his brilliant mind entertained until I return from Daventry, Monday to Friday from 3.15pm until 5pm.
At present, there is no need for assistance with our daughter, Afeni, however this is the first time we've required this kind of support since leaving our amazing support network of friends and family in Bristol, so it may take a moment to fully establish how best the support will fit around our lives.

We are a mixed heritage family and it's very important that my children are in a holistically nurturing environment with care givers that are racially literate. We also value fun, creativity, love and kindness amongst a whole host of things that people who choose to look after children often possess in abundance.
