My Experience
I have accumulated 8 years of experience as an Early Years Practitioner, during which I have developed a strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies. Additionally, I have spent 2 of those years as a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo), where I focused on supporting children with diverse needs. Growing up in a large family, I have also gained valuable experience caring for newborns and babies, which has enriched my perspective on child care. My experience also includes working part-time at FiveWays School for a couple months, where I provided support to children with autism and other special needs aged 6 to 8 years old. While my primary focus has been on younger children, I have also had the opportunity to work with older children and teenagers on occasion, broadening my skills and adaptability in various educational settings.
My Qualifications
I am proud to share that I have been awarded a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, which has equipped me with a solid foundation in child development, pedagogical approaches, and effective teaching strategies. Throughout my academic journey, I have undergone countless training sessions that have further enhanced my skills and knowledge in the field. These training opportunities have covered various aspects of early childhood education, including child safety, inclusive practices, support for special educational needs and innovative teaching methods, enabling me to provide the highest quality of care and education to young children. This combination of formal education and practical training has prepared me to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.
My Availability
I would like to inform you about my availability for babysitting. I work at a preschool three days a week, which keeps me occupied during the day. On my other two days, I dedicate my time to university and placement commitments. Therefore, I am available to babysit after 4 o'clock on weekdays. Additionally, I am open to babysitting on the weekends, providing flexibility to accommodate your needs. I am committed to ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children while balancing my academic and professional responsibilities.
