About Me
Natasha is a Qualified Teacher (QTS) working in a Primary school in the Special Education Needs department. She holds accredited SpLd status and specialises in Dyslexia. Natasha has been selected by Dyslexia Scotland to undertake a GTCS Professional Recognition Programme over the course of the year to better support dyslexic learners.
My Experience
I have worked for over 10 years in Special Needs Education and am qualified and experienced to respond to the needs of children with a diverse range of needs: ASD (both verbal and non-verbal), ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and others. I am a qualified teacher with a background as a Primary Class Teacher and hold Level 5 Qualifications in Dyslexia with Associated Membership of the Dyslexia Guild and am a registered Tutor for Dyslexia Scotland. I am a mother to two sons.
My tutoring is holistic with an emphasis on nurturing the whole child. I focus on building strong interpersonal and communication skills to allow children to advocate for themselves. Lessons will be adapted for needs with a strong focus on multi-sensory learning.
