We’re looking for a Nanny/Housekeeper to join our family in January. I have three wonderful children and I need someone to be my right hand woman to work alongside me while I work full time to keep the house running smoothly and children happy. As the children are now older they are at school in term time (college, state school and private) but need picking up, supporting with homework, driving them to and from clubs and generally having a good time with them.

The house is full of a lot of laughter, the eldest happily looks after himself most of the time and the 2 youngest love scrabble, pool, table tennis, baking, cooking and generally having fun in the garden. In the holidays the role becomes more child focused.

While the children are at school the role would include, full cleaning of the house to include bathrooms and children bedrooms, washing, ironing, general day to day errands. I am hands on during the evenings and weekends as I enjoy doing it.

We have 2 dogs, 3 cats and a bearded dragon who we take joint responsibility for, part of the role is walking the dogs but I do love doing it as well as it gets me out and about.

The perfect person for this role would be someone who likes variety and is happy around teenagers. One day you could be doing Go Ape and the day after you could be sorting through the laundry cupboard and buying a new school uniform. I need someone who will muck in and work well together but I can completely trust to get everything done and sorted if I am not around for the whole day.

I do work from home generally but on a Wednesday I go to the office which is a long day as I need to leave early. I have a home office and am on calls quite a lot so this is a sole charge role but I am around.

My current Nanny has been with us for 5.5 years and highly recommends the role and has really become part of the family. She is leaving to change careers, there will be a handover period.

The role is to commence in January.

The role is £34,000 gpa
