About Me
I am currently a full-time private tutor (and former EYFS teacher). Having qualified with a Primary Education degree 4 years ago, I am up to date with the necessary training needed to provide the best education to children. I specialise in early childhood and I excel in teaching reception, year 1 & year 2 aged children.
My Experience
I worked as an EYFS teacher for 4 years before becoming a full-time tutor. Prior to this, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school for 6 years. I have experience in most year groups therefore I have a great knowledge of the end of year expectations for a wide range of year groups. I am familiar with the curriculum for all year groups in the primary setting, however EYFS and KS1 are where I pride myself on being extremely confident and knowledgeable. I am trained in a range of phonics schemes and thoroughly enjoy teaching these.
