About Me
I grew up in Lytham, with my Mum and older brother. During my senior school years, I volunteered in the junior school and effectively filled the role of a teaching assistant for Years 2, 3, and 4. I really enjoyed doing this; I was able to help the children with their work and reading, whilst also being there to listen if they had any problems. Additionally, I have been babysitting since the age of 17 for multiple families in my area, caring for children aged between 4 and 15.
I have completed a psychology degree at the University of Liverpool. Whilst I was there, I volunteered with the local girl guides. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Applied Clinical Psychology at the University of Bath. My goal is to become a clinical psychologist and I have extensive work experience with a diverse range of people.
I am looking for part-time work as I have moved to Loughborough. My background in psychology, paired with my experience in childcare makes me well suited for the role.
My Experience
I have baby sat for multiple children both within my family and outside the family. This role included making meals, entertaining the children, playing games, helping with homework and putting the children to bed. I have also volunteered with my local girl guide group while at the University of Liverpool. Here I helped the children achieve their badges. This included helping with arts and craft activities, cooking and baking, as well as first aid. I have filled the role of a teaching assistant while at senior school. Here I helped with the class work, their reading and listened to any problems they were having.
My Qualifications
I have an undergraduate Psychology degree, and a MSc Applied Clinical Psychology degree.
