About Me
We are a Christian family with a neurodiverse 5 year old girl and a neurotypical 7 year old boy who are both bright, fun, happy and affectionate. Our house is in a quiet beautiful area with a garden and a trampoline.
Our daughter loves books, music, jigsaws and outdoors. She brings joy to all around her, as long as she is accepted for who she is.
We hold to an ethos that autism is not a problem to be fixed. Instead we subscribe to movement method/horse boy ethos, with a compassionate approach to enable children to flourish in an environment of love and acceptance.
My Requirements
We require a compassionate flexible kind and ultra reliable nanny to start immediately. This will be for approximately 30-34 hours per week, primarily for wrap around care before and after school with additional hours on mutual arrangement.
The post will include school runs, breakfast and dinner, facilitation of home work, and time to develop our daughter's learning by using 'follow the child' method. We will also warmly welcome you into our family and appreciate your invaluable contribution.
At some point we hope to welcome an assistance labrador into our family, so applicants need to bear this in mind.
Pay rate will depend on the experience and training of the individual, and will be negotiable, upwards of £17/hour. We would also pay for the on line Movement Method training modelling this compassionate and kind approach to autism.
