My Summary

My Experience

I have taught children of all abilities with many different needs and backgrounds, so rest assured that I can identify relevant provision for your child.
I am fully trained in delivering and tutoring phonics, and teach phonics to a group of 20 daily, working with a range of abilities and levels.
I have experience producing and delivering curriculum approved ks1 and ks2 mathematics using White Rose, NCETM, and Deepening. Ks1 and Ks2 English lesson planning and implementation, I have a love for SPaG, and a passion for high quality texts.

I am trained and provide interventions daily to children who need a slower pace and additional support to improve their educational outcomes. Above everything, to me, children's well-being is the most important, I have worked with many different children with various strengths and needs. I have extensive skills supporting children who may need a gentle approach with their learning. I am a big believer that learning needs to be fun and tailored to children's individual needs.

My Qualifications

I have a PGCE without qualified teacher status (2:1).
In my job I cover my class as a HLTA often, as well as teaching phonics to a group of 20 children on a daily basis, so have ample experience and confidence teaching children and delivering the curriculum to a high level.
In addition to this, I possess an Early Years degree (2:1), GCSE Mathematics C, English C and double Science C qualifications.

My Availability

I am free every day from 3:30pm. I am free most weekends and happy to arrange tutoring on weekends if weekdays are difficult for tutoring to be squeezed in.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £18.00 per hour
