I am an NNEB qualified Nursery Nurse, and have worked with children and families for the past 30 years.
I have a current Paediatric First Aid certificate and take advantage of training opportunities through Bromley's Children and Young People Services. I am a member of PACEY.
I live in Hayes, Kent with my husband and three children.My eldest has is now working as a Building Surveyor, my middle child is in her third year at University and my youngest is in Year 12 studying for his A Levels.
I can offer your child/ren a safe,fun and stimulating home environment. We enjoy trips outdoors to local parks, libraries and toddler groups. At home we enjoy messy play such as playdoh, sand and water. We do art and craft activities, cooking, music and storytime.
We enjoy the outdoor space, planting and digging in the raised beds, other resources available are bikes, scooters and doll's prams. We have a play house in the garden too.
We are a non smoking family.
I can offer school runs to Hayes Primary and local Pre-Schools.
My Experience
I have been registered as a childminder since 2007. My last inspection was June 2018.
I have worked in the childcare sector for 30 years, this has included settings such as Social Service Day Nursery, Early Years Centre and most recently as a Family Worker in a Sure Start Children's Centre.
I have toys and resources that suit all children dependent on age and stage of development. I regularly take the children out, some of these trips may include walks to High Elms Country Park, Christmas Tree Farm, local library, theatre shows etc.
I work closely with other childminders we meet once a week for a play session or outing.

My Availability
At present my childminding service is available Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7.30am to 5.45. However, I may be able to offer an earlier start or a later finish time subject to discussion.

Lisa was our childminder for our 3 year old daughter for 2 years from August 2012 - July 2014 and was with Lisa 4 days a week.
The level of care our daughter received was wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our daughter and our family.
The childminding care was varied, interactive, fun and creative and more importantly our daughter was very much part of Lisa's family. Lisa has a depth of professional and first hand experience which we felt was invaluable and she offered the right balance on the childcare she provided.
Throughout the week, our daughter would visit High Elms, Keston Ponds, Christmas Tree farm, Husseywell Park (plus numerous other local parks and farms) with the other children Lisa looked after and would regularly interact with other children as part of Lisa's childminding network.
She had so much fun and certainly made use of the all in one waterproofs!
Our daughter painted her first pictures, baked her first bread roll and attended her first theatre performance with Lisa. We have a large portfolio to show all the creative work our daughter produced.
We relocated to another part of the UK in August 2014, otherwise our daughter would now be attending nursery with Lisa looking after her for the remainder of the week.
The toughest part of the relocation was saying goodbye to Lisa and her family. we couldn't recommend her enough!

Lisa took care of both my girls (3 and 1) for a year and she was outstanding. She is a very caring, loving childminder. She did everything to make sure the girls felt at home. I felt safe in the knowledge that my girls were happy at Lisa's and I think as a mother that's all you need. The girls had loads of toys to play with (there's a room bursting to the brim of them!) and other children to socialise with too.
