About Me
I am a 22 year old graduate with one official year of experience in babysitting. However, I have been caring for children in my family ever since I was 16 years old. I wish to provide your child with a safe and calm environment where they can engage in play and enhance their creative skills. I have a Safeguarding Children Certificate and just now starting a course on the education of History. I am a responsible carer who will prioritise your child's wellbeing above anything else.
My Experience
I have been working as a babysitter for a 7 year old child for the past year. Considering his learning difficulties and ADHD, we have found ways to work around his neurodivergence and to provide an informed approach to help him cultivate his focus, creativity and social skills.
Besides that, I have been taking care of my nephew and niece ever since they were born. I worked on their language development skills and now we are focused on play since they are only 3 years old.
Lastly, when the COVID-19 outbreak happened, I started voluntarily, online ballet lessons as a way to pass time all the while I was aiding my cousin with her son since she was suffering from multiple sclerosis.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in History and Philosophy from University of Glasgow (2:1). I have completed a Safeguarding Children certificate by One Training Services in addition to a Food and Safety course.
