My Summary
About Me
**LittleFigs Childminding - OPENING FEB/MARCH**
Places still available.
For the last five years I have been a Teacher and then Deputy Head at a lovely nursery called Miss Daisy's Chelsea. Before that I was a Montessori teacher, teaching children between the ages of 1 and 6 years old.
I grew up in London and realised from a very early age that I loved children and was passionate about supporting their development and learning. I know through all my teaching experience how important the Early Years are and as a parent myself (to my 1 year old son, Rudy) how hard it is to find a reliable childcare setting where they can offer a good, thought out curriculum as well as being a safe and nurturing environment.
This is why I set up LittleFigs Childminding, a home from home setting where all children who walk through our doors get the opportunity to learn in a fun, warm and stimulating environment. Your little one will get to learn at their own pace through creative hands-on learning experiences, so that they can reach their full potential.
> We will be Ofsted registered once open.
> 5 minutes from Forest Hill Station on Devonshire Road.
> We have a large garden and a brand new purpose built garden room.

> At LittleFigs we want to promote a healthy lifestyle, children will learn about different foods, get a chance to grow some in the garden and enjoy lots of cooking and baking.
> We have many resources and activities set up across the whole of our home, which will be changed and adapted to the children's interests and needs.
> Visits to the local parks, community spaces, playgroups and museums (all a short walking distance).
> We encourage children to learn about different cultures by celebrating global weeks and festivals, sharing different traditions from around the world.
> Written observations and feedback for parents via our easy to use app.
