Hi I'm Sophie! I am a student from Northern Ireland living in Glasgow. I am 21 years old. I am caring, reliable and have a genuine passion with working with children as I am hoping to persue a teaching career. I would love to bring my positive and attentive nature to help with babysitting or childminding.
My Experience
Before moving to Glasgow, I was a nanny for two young children (ages 3 and 5) for two years which I absolutely loved. I would pick them up from school, help with homework, prepare dinner as well as the bath and bedtime routine. I also spent a year studying in Australia where I became an au pair for a family with children aged 6 and 8. This involved spending lots of time with the children everyday as it was during the summer holidays. I took them out for day trips, spent time in the pool and playing in the garden. My general duties would involve making three meals a day, doing laundry and keeping the kids active and content throughout the days.
My Qualifications
I have GCSE and A-level qualifications and currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Geography at the university of Glasgow.
My Availability
I am studying three days a week for two hours in the morning. I am pretty flexible in terms of availability.
