I've recently graduated with a degree in Medical Sciences and I am now taking a gap year, which I'd love to spend nannying. I have over 7 years of experience as a babysitter, working with numerous families and providing reliable care for children. I regularly cared for children on weekdays from 3 PM to 7 PM, ensuring they had after-school snacks, engaging them in playtime, supervising their dinner, helping with bath time, and ensuring they get to sleep. Additionally, I provided evening babysitting for other families, which involved playing with the children and putting them to bed while their parents were out.
Beyond babysitting, I have experience tutoring children for GCSE and A level exams and mentoring younger students at school, offering support with both academic and social challenges. Over the past 3 years, I’ve also worked at UK summer camps, leading activities for groups of 40+ children. Two years ago, I spent 3 months at a summer camp in the U.S., where I was responsible for 15 twelve-year-olds throughout the day. This experience was both demanding and immensely rewarding, deepening my childcare skills.
