KidzBiz Early Learning Centre 2021 - 2022
Job Title: Toddler Room Leader
During my time as a room leader at KidzBiz Early Learning Centre, I learnt the importance of child safety and correct policies and procedures. This includes, nappy changes, bottle preparation, deep cleaning and effective planning.
I built strong, positive relationships with both the children and their families so that both found me easy to trust, and to ensure drop offs and pick ups were easy and always ran smoothly.
I taught children life skills, numbers, colour recognition and much more through play - based learning experiences as well as including song and dance as I found that was the most effective way for children to learn and enjoy themselves during the process.
I spent a lot of one on one time with multiple children that may have needed the extra assistance, to ensure each and every child met their milestones and were able to move up with their age groups at the correct time.
Also, with KidzBiz, I completed my food safety and prepared healthy, nutritious meals for the children occasionally if our chef was absent so I have experience in food prep, and served breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack for the children daily.

BusyBees Early Learning 2022 - 2024
Job Title: Toddler Room Leader
At BusyBees Early Learning, I started off as a room leader in the toddlers room. Using each childs individual learning stories, I would effectively plan a program (linking to the correct frameworks) to ensure each childs personal needs were constantly being met.
With BusyBees I completed my Child Protection training. This training gave me knowledge to ensure children are kept safe and secure whilst in my care at all times.
After a year at BusyBees, I moved from the toddler room, to a float educator to gain more knowledge and experience across all the other age groups. This has given me experience with children aged 6 weeks +! Children find me very easy to talk to and comfortable to be around. They saw me as a safe place for them to go too if they were upset or not feeling the best.
Completing deep cleanings of the rooms twice daily, ensured no germs were being spread, and the children always had a beautiful, clean environment to learn, play and enjoy themselves in.

My Qualifications

In Australia, I completed my certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care which is the equivalent to Level 3 diploma. I also completed both my first aid and CPR training however has recently expired so am in the process of renewing!
