About Me

My name is Mia, I am an experienced private tutor with a teaching background. I have been a teacher for 14 years, teaching both children and adults alike. I have traveled extensively and have worked in different schools and settings including virtual classes. My focus group at the moment are KS2 (Y3 - Y6).


I have created OOSL tuition which is geared to assess children’s potential and promote their growth. Due to my studies in psychology, I pay close attention to the behaviour’s of children while learning. There are methods to enable easy learning, but often times one set method is used for all. At OOSL we aim to understand your child and cater to their method of learning. OOSL provides group and individual tuition.

I am married with 3 children, two teenagers and a 4 month old. I enjoy fun family friendly activities, games, adventures, and parties. I play tennis, baseball, basketball, volleyball and netball. I like to swim when I get a chance. My favourite subjects are Science, Math and Reading. Electronically I love to play ball sort (helps the brain) In all, I’m just a pure genuine soul looking to put a smile on a pupil and parent face by helping the best way possible.
