My passion for working with young children has stemmed from my previous experience as a former secondary school teacher of ten years.
Although childminding is not exactly the same but I have acquired invaluable transferable skills that I can utilise in childminding. I work well with routine, instilling discipline and order, but most importantly, learning through a lot of active play.
I love the outdoors, sing alongs, imaginary play, crafts, creativity, and, most importantly, encouraging children to develop to be their best selves.
My whole outlook on life is to continue bettering oneself through growth, positivity, and nurture.
My Experience
As mentioned above, I am a former school teacher of 10 years. I am qualified in secondary teaching in Design and Technology.
My specialism was Product Deisgn and Graphics and taught food technology, textiles and electronics across key stage 3. I held roles of responsibilities as a form tutor, key 3 stage Co ordinator, and literacy ambassador.
Prior to teaching, I was a junior graphic designer for the NHS and did freelance illustration. I have also tapped in to retail, admin work, and so forth.
I am generally a very hardworking person and always striving to challenge myself.

My Fees
- Childminding from £10.00 per hour
My fees are based on my wealth of knowledge in education. I will provide high-quality learning through play and care. My central focus is to use what I possess already to build and nurture young minds. No one day will be the same, in my setting for your child. Every day will be planned like a school setting with routines and discipline, but most of all, a lot of play.
My ethos is that every child is different, and I will cater and tailor to every child in my care with absolute attention to detail.
