Hello! I’m Paige and I have worked in childcare for the last 8 years. I really enjoy caring for children and love to have fun with them. I am very creative and enjoy coming up with new fun activities for us to do, especially crafts. I am very family oriented and love to spend time with family and friends. People I have nannied and worked for have described me as reliable, flexible, helpful and dependable. I really enjoy being outside in nature and love to go for walks and hikes. I am also an animal lover and love playing sports.
My Experience
I have been a full time live-in nanny for 3 years with a family that has 3 children. When I first arrived there they were newborn, 3 and 5. It was amazing to help bring up a baby and then see him start at preschool. I loved caring for them so much and have kept in touch with them since I left. Before that I was a preschool teacher and cared for children aged 2-5, including children with disabilities and additional needs. During my time as a preschool teacher, I did a lot of training in many areas (speech and language, safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene etc.) I really love caring for children and love to find fun new activities for them to explore different senses and get creative or get outdoors.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 qualification in early years as well as many other certificates that came with working in a preschool. I also have a bachelors degree in environmental sciences
My Availability
I am available from December onwards and am free every weekday or weekend in the day time or early evenings.
