About Me
I am currently a student in Liverpool studying Primary Education with QTS. I have babysat for families in my local area for six years. I have looked after children from the age of 6 months up to 13 years, including children with autism. I work for families maintaining the safety of children, following feeding and sleeping schedules, maintaining a clean and organised house and playing educational games. have volunteered in primary schools and the local Cub Scout group in my area. I have completed and passed my first year placement in Year 1/2, so I have seen how schools teach phonics, maths, english and reading, meaning I can help children with homework. I have also worked in a Nursery as a Nursery Practitioner for a summer before starting my degree. I have completed my safeguarding training, I have a knowledge of children’s development, I have attended meetings, planned sessions for children both academic and fun, enabled children to become more independent and communicated with parents.
