My Requirements

We are a warm and kind family in Hampstead, NW3, looking for a wonderful woman or man to assist our adorable 11-year-old SEN son during weekends: Saturdays 10:00 to 19:00 and Sundays 12:00 to 19:00. In addition, there is also an opportunity for occasional babysitting during Friday or Saturday nights.

Our son has cerebral palsy and does not (yet) walk or clearly enunciate words, but he is happy, full of enthusiasm, absolutely loves learning and his many therapies, and makes all of us smile and laugh constantly.

As a person, you should be happy, enthusiastic, dynamic, organised, clean, and efficient. You should be prepared to motivate and support our son in his development, including some educational and physical activities. You should be comfortable to spend the work days with the rest of the family given that this is a weekend position. You should also sufficiently strong and energetic to lift and carry our son up and down one flight of stairs, as we do. (He weighs 20 kg).

This is a well-paid position, with everything done correctly, including pension, paid holiday entitlement, etc. Of course, you must have the legal right to work in the U.K. Non-smokers only - we're a healthy family.
