About Me
I am a secondary school science teacher from north London who wants to focus on providing personalised tutoring services and childcare outside of the busy classroom setting. With a passion for nurturing young minds, I've spent years helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I understand that every child is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet their individual needs. I am available to tutor children in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths up to GCSE level. I can also tutor Biology at A-level. I offer homework help for young primary school children as I have experience across the subjects as a supply teacher. My literacy skills are strong, therefore I can help children who are struggling in this area.
I have some experience babysitting and looking after toddlers and younger children so can also offer childcare. I come from a big family with a lot of young nieces and nephews who I spend time with weekly.
I also have an interest in arts and crafts so I enjoy encouraging children to be creative and join in with different art mediums that I have tried, as long as it is safe for them to do so.
My Experience
I have 4.5 years experience as a secondary school science teacher and have been covering across the subjects as a supply teacher since January of 2024. I also have 6.5 years experience as a youth worker at a centre that provides a welcoming environment where children (aged 8+) and young people can connect with their peers, express themselves, and develop essential life skills in a supportive setting. In both roles I have worked with children and young people from a range of backgrounds. This includes children with SEN such as ASD, SLCN and ADHD.
My Qualifications
PGCE with QTS- Secondary Science
Youth Mental Health First Aid
5 AS and A levels including Sciences, Psychology and German
11 GCSEs including English Language/Literature- A/A, Maths- B and Science Double Award- A* and A.
My Availability
I teach via an agency so can choose my own schedule aside from when I work at a youth centre from 5pm on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings every week.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Tutoring from £30.00 per hour
My fees are dependent on the nature of the job and the time. I will charge the tutor rate only for the time that was used for learning. The tutor fee will also cover the time I have used to prepare learning resources at home.
