About Me
I’m a mum of 3 with years of experience working and caring for children of all ages 0-18. I’m fun, friendly, caring and energetic I love to create adventure and explore the outdoors, we’ll get messy, read books, sing/dance, learn and use our imaginations inline with the EYFS Statutory framework to enhance your children’s learning and development. My setting offers a play room, cosy living room, kitchen dining area and a decent sized garden. I offer childcare for children aged between 0-5yrs I’m open Monday to Friday 7.45am - 4.30pm.
My Experience
I’ve worked with children of all ages from 0-18 for over 14years. I’ve worked in nurseries, primary and secondary schools and SEN schools. My roles have varied form Teaching assistants to behaviour support, pastoral support and more recently an alternative to education mentor and deputy designated safeguarding lead. I also have 3 of my own children. I’ve worked with children who have Autism and or ADHD. I’ve taken part in trauma informed training, youth mental health training, paediatric first aid, safeguarding training. I’m level 3 qualified in supporting teaching and learning and I’m always looking for new ways to further my knowledge and understanding through training and self evaluation.
My Qualifications
I have GCSE’s in
Maths - C
English - B
Science - C
as well as RE, IT, Technology, Geography, German.
I have an NVQ level 3 in supporting teaching and learning.
BTec National Dipolma in Public Services.
I have undertaken additional training in the following:
Phonics
Trauma informed practice
Youth mental health
Paediatric first aid
English as a seconds language
Safeguarding
Autism awareness
ADHD awareness
My Availability
I’m available Monday to Friday from 7.45am - 4.30pm. I will take 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays. (Bank holidays may be discussed).
