My Requirements

After-School Nanny (3 Days/Week, childcare and household support)

The role will include meal preparing, light household tasks, collecting our daughter from school, facilitating completion of homework and creating calming and relaxing activities.

We are a family of five. Flexibility for childcare over school holidays of both our eldest and middle children would be preferable. Once routine established, requirements may include collecting our second child from a different school.

? Days: 3 weekdays (Tues–Thurs)

? Hours: 2:00– 6:00/7:00 (~14 hours/week)

? Pay: £15.00 gross, based on experience

?? Children:
• Child A (age 8): Autistic, needs a calm transition from school to home
• Child B (age 6): Collected later after clubs (not initially in nanny’s care)
• Child C (age 1) is at nursery all day (not in nanny’s care)

?? Responsibilities:
• School pick-ups, preferably walking
• Supporting Child A to unwind and regulate after school (quiet play, snacks, sensory-friendly space)
• Assist and facilitate homework with Child A
• Preparing family meals
• Tidying play areas and children’s bedrooms
• Sorting children’s laundry (folding, putting away)

? Ideal Candidate:
• Kind, calm, and confident around neurodivergent children
• Reliable and structured with a gentle presence
• Clean driving licence
• Enhanced DBS and references required
