My name is Rachael, I am 26 years old and have a passion for working with children and young people. I am a calm, fun and imaginative individual and have 4+ years experience working with children and young people in different environments. I am currently studying my masters in Psychology in Education to expand my knowledge in supporting young people.
My Experience
1:1 English GCSE student- I have tutored a student with dyslexia, the English GCSE curriculum. The student was expecting a 5 and received a 7 in her GSCE results.

Working with the SENDCO and teaching staff to enable students to make progress in their academic subjects and in their personal development. I support the SENCO by providing reports and completing admin within the SEN department. In my role, I implement strategies in order to support students. I independently run interventions with KS3 and 4 such as Talk About It and Lego Therapy to develop their social, emotional and communication skills. The SEN department works closely with Safeguarding, which well equips me for working with vulnerable students.

My Availability
I am currently studying for my MSc in Psychology in Education so I am in University on Monday Mornings, Tuesday and Thursday. I would be free late afternoons early evenings on those days and I may be able to do some weekends.
