About Me
I am a career nanny of 11 years who is confident, responsible and always eager to further my knowledge of child development. I have experience with newborns, multiples, toddlers, school age - primary and secondary, as well as experience working for High Profile / High Net Worth families.
As a care giver I am energetic and loving and I am always eager to show children the world. As well as exciting adventures outside the home such as classes, groups, parks, farms, theatre shows, I also love to encourage children to help with little tasks within the home to allow them contribute to family life and they always love feeling included and helpful!
As a Nanny I take a hands on approach to all aspects of family life. I am always happy to do what I can to make parent’s lives easier as I understand the mental and physical load of balancing a family and career. I am always happy to be flexible as I know that life doesn’t always follow a precise schedule e.g train delays/traffic.
I form close relationships with both the child and their family, both immediate and extended, and have continued many of these relationships beyond employment.
I am a tidy and organised individual who enjoys fostering a clean and safe environment for the benefit of both the children and family. I take exceptional pride in my work and have found my career to date to be extremely rewarding.
I live in a beautiful little village called Woburn on the edge of Bedfordshire with my husband and have my own daughter (turns 1 February 2025) who I would love to bring along with me if given the opportunity, she is a very easy happy baby who goes with the flow and would make a perfect friend to any future charges. All my charges from current and previous roles absolutely adore her. She would be treated as an equal/sibling with no preferential treatment. If I was given the opportunity to bring my daughter along, I would happily provide a double buggy if the children are similar ages.
I also have a golden retriever and enjoy horse riding as well as supporting children in their horse riding adventures
