We are a friendly family of four (two parents, a 2 year old toddler and a newborn baby) living in Hampstead (London, NW3) and seeking an experienced live-out Nanny Housekeeper.

Our toddler is at nursery full time (Monday to Friday) and mother is on maternity leave with the newborn baby, so the role involves some hours of housekeeping in the day, followed by supporting the mother with childcare from 4pm onwards (nursery pick up, minding the baby, dinner, bathtime and bedtime routine).

We employ a cleaner twice a week and so household deep cleaning is not required. Housekeeping duties involve cooking (we love good food!), laundry, ironing, nursery duties (e.g. sterilising, emptying nappy bins, organising toys, cleaning equipment), maintaining a tidy house and running simple errands.

We are looking for someone who is positive, enthusiastic, flexible and organised to join us! It is important to have experience and confidence in taking sole charge of toddlers and babies as the role may evolve to require more childcare duties, such as during nursery closure dates and as baby gets older.

Flexibility and willingness to provide ad hoc babysitting some evenings (to be paid overtime), and on weekends, is highly desirable.

A driver is a bonus but not essential as we have good public transport links.

• Requirements – sole charge nanny and housekeeping experience with toddlers and babies, and a caring and positive person with good communication skills and a flexible and organised approach
• Pay rate – negotiable depending on experience
• Start date – as soon as possible but January 2025 at the latest
