About Me
Hi, I'm Abena, an ofsted registered nanny and a kind and loving mom of three children. I am very passionate about my career in looking after children. I do this because as a mother of three young children, I understand the importance of nurturing and caring for children, and I always give this to every child I've looked after. I have over 13 years of experience looking after my children and other children as well. I've looked after children from newborns to as old as 8 years.
my responsibilities are not just simply looking after them,
- I've helped with reading and their homework
-picking them up from school
-taking them out to parks, playgroups and after-school extra activities.
-help with their meal planning and preparations
-other household chores.
I love to share a couple of things about myself; I am a caterer so I love to bake,roast ,fry stew,grill,steam.pane, saute,and experimenting with fondants to make children's character cakes. I love cooking both my Ghanaian traditional dishes and continental dishes, reading about nutrition, and watching investigative movies.
I am also passionate about building strong relationships with both children and their families Using the Montessori approach to promote children's physical, social, and emotional development(PSED) in an enabling environment linking it to the early years foundation stage(EYFS).
My Experience
I have over 13 years of experience looking after my children and other children as well. I've looked after children from as young as newborns to as old as 13 yeears.

We had the pleasure of having Abena look after my 8-year-old daughter for two full days, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. It’s not easy to find someone you can trust and leave your children with each day but finding Abena was a dream come true for my family and we cherish her so much.
Abena has a wonderful personality and is child friendly and we’re thrilled to have found her. She makes lovely meals everyday and my kids enjoy them so much, not to even talk about her baking skills with all the beautiful fondants flowers which brings out the creativity in my kids daily activities and I can testify that this has greatly improved their learning and developmental skills.
Abena has a range of activities everyday that encourages my children with different age groups to participate. There's no doubt that she simply loves looking after little ones.
I would always endorse Abena as a nanny over and over again because she’s our life saver and my children are always looking out for her every time we're in London.
