Hello everyone, my name is Natalia. I’m 33 years old, and I have a toddler who is 2 years and 2 months old.
I’m from Argentina and moved to the UK four years ago. I first lived in London, where I worked as a nanny for almost two years. When I got pregnant, I did some babysitting and also took care of cats. In 2023, I spent most of my time alone with my baby since his dad was working most of the time.
We moved to Liverpool almost two years ago, and now I work on weekends at a maternity hospital.
My Experience
As I mentioned before, I worked as a nanny in 2021/2022, taking care of two children, aged 3 and 5. I looked after them for three hours every day after school.
Occasionally, I also cared for a baby girl from when she was 6 months old until she turned 9 months. She had an older sister, and I sometimes took care of both of them overnight.
In my home country, I looked after twins for a while during COVID. When I was younger, I also took care of a girl from the age of 6 until she was 11 while her mother worked night shifts at the hospital.
Since becoming a mother myself, I’ve learned so much. Without much family or many friends nearby, motherhood has felt like an intensive course for me. Everything was new and challenging, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. Being a mom is the most beautiful thing that has ever happened to me—and also the hardest job.
I understand the responsibilities that come with being a mother, and I know parents expect the same level of care and dedication from the person looking after their children.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any formal qualifications, but I have hands-on experience as both a mother and a nanny, caring for children of different ages in various families.
I also hold a Webinar Participation Certificate in Life Skills for Early Years Children and have completed Early Years Child Development Training.
My Availability
I’m available after 3.30 pm.
